Los Gigantes is a district of the municipality of Santiago del Teide, located in the west of Tenerife. The tourist town is known for its cliffs, which offer visitors a spectacular view from land and sea and are known as the Acantilado de los Gigantes, or Rock of the Giants. At this point, the cliffs drop up to 450 metres vertically into the sea. Los Gigantes is easy to reach via the road from Adeje. All shopping facilities are available in the town itself. Tenerife South Airport is approx. 35 minutes away by car, Playa de las Américas approx. 20 minutes. The nearby golf courses can also be reached in 20 - 30 minutes. Los Gigantes has more than three hundred days of sunshine a year and has become a popular holiday resort in the west of Tenerife.
