Castellar del Vallès is a big town, which belongs to the Vallès Occidental region, a province of Barcelona. With an approximate population of 25.000 habitants, it is a quiet, calmed and welcoming town, surrounded by nature and placed next to the Parc Natural de Sant Llorenç (La Mola).  It has a wide variety of services and accommodations for its habitants, comparable to the ones in a small city, including shops, restaurants, bars, parks, natural spaces and even a sports center and a municipal swimming pool. The urbanisation of Can Font and Can Avellaneda is the one which is farthest located to the town centre, but, in contrast, it is closer to the municipalities of Matadepera and Terrassa.
