Alto Penedés is a Spanish comarca, located in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia. It is one of the four comarques into which the Penedès was divided in the 1987 regional division of Catalonia. It is bordered by the comarcas of Noya to the north, Garraf to the south, Baix Penedès and Alt Camp to the west, and Baix Llobregat to the east. The capital is Vilafranca del Penedès, which is also the most populated municipality in the county. The Foix Park and its reservoir form part of the Natural Areas protected and managed by the County Council of Barcelona. The park is dominated by pine and holm oak woods as well as riverside woodland around the reservoir.
