Maioris Décima is a modern coastal urbanization that belongs to the municipality of Llucmajor, and is set between Bellavista and Puig de Ros. It is part of a very long coastline with many bathing areas off the rocks, although the last one has sand. It boasts a stunning setting, where boats choose to anchor. Many years ago the area was a sandstone quarry, giving the current bathing areas striking shapes. Fishing is forbidden in the area, as it has been made a protected marine reserve. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance. In the vicinities of Maioris there is also a municipal swimming pool with paddle tennis courts, Maioris Golf course, and the Mhares Sea Club in Puig de Ros. The airport is approx. 16km away and Palma center can be reached by car in 20 minutes.
