Burjassot is a municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. Belonging to the province of Valencia, located in the western part of the metropolitan area of Valencia, in the region of the Huerta Norte. The area of the municipality is almost flat. However, in the western part of the municipality there are small hills that reach a maximum height of sixty meters that serve as a boundary to the Huerta de Valencia. Like the whole region, it has a Mediterranean climate. It has a population of 37,324 inhabitants. Surface area 3.4 km². Density 10.977, 65 inhabitants/km². The easiest way to get there from the city of Valencia is via the CV-35 highway, 7 km away and 7.8 km from Manises airport. It also has a train station (Metro Valencia Lines 1, 2 and 4), as well as bus lines of the EMT and the Municipal Transport Consortium (CMT). By road it is possible to arrive by the CV-35 (Ademuz track / Av. Cortes Valencianas) and by the Avenida de Burjasot of the Valencian capital.
