Price
€257,000
Located in the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, between the Hozgarganta and Guadarranque rivers. At its feet is the Castellar Swamp, a natural and beautiful place, where we can see the Eagles that fly over this fortress, which is still in very good condition. In its day this Castle served as a lookout and protection for the kingdom of Tarifa in Algeciras. From the small parade ground, you can access the interior farmhouse, with white houses and narrow, winding streets full of flowers. The buildings include the Alcazar de Los Condes de Castellar, with the Homage tower, the Town Hall and the Church of the Divine Savior, in baroque style. This house is at the entrance to the fortress, in the Rincón de Los Enamorados, where you can access a balcony, with open views of the swamp and the landscape. In this house at the entrance, we can enjoy a kitchen-living room with a large window and a balcony with views of the landscape. In the upper part, there is a large bedroom, a full bathroom and a small office area. It has all the comforts of a home, where you can enjoy the tranquillity and silence that is experienced in this special location. Castellar de la Frontera, is a few km from the cities of Sotogrande, Campo de Gibraltar and Gibraltar. All commercial facilities and sports activities a few minutes from the house, but away from stress and noise. A home full of tranquillity to meditate and enjoy nature at your fingertips.

Castellar de la Frontera is a Spanish municipality located in the province of Cádiz, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is part of the Campo de Gibraltar region. It borders the municipalities of San Roque, San Martín del Tesorillo, Jimena de la Frontera, Los Barrios and Alcalá de los Gazules, in the Los Alcornocales natural park, on the so-called Ruta del Toro. The municipality has three population centres, which are Castellar Viejo (colloquially known as El Castillo), Castellar Nuevo and La Almoraima. The old town was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1963. Castellar is popular for its medieval castle, a prominent tourist attraction. The municipality has a primary school, a secondary education institute, an adult education centre, as well as a public library and a theatre-cinema. The monuments of the importance of this site are Castillo de Castellar (Nasrid fortress built between the 12th and 15th centuries), Palace of the Counts of Castellar (residence of the Counts of Castellar), Church of Divino Salvador (17th century) Convent of San Miguel de La Almoraima (built in the 17th century in baroque style), Molino del Conde. A large part of the population is dedicated to the service sector, due to the proximity of the municipality with other population centres in Campo de Gibraltar, such as San Roque, La Línea de la Concepción, Los Barrios and Algeciras.
