Santanyi is located in the extreme south-east of Mallorca, around 56 kilometres from Palma. The village in the south-east, with its almost 12,000 inhabitants, is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. The houses are built in the original Mallorcan style with their typical Marés sandstone. There are many small shops in the centre where you can find unusual fashion, jewellery and decorative items. There is a market here on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which runs through the entire centre. Here you can enjoy the colourful hustle and bustle of one of the most beautiful markets on the island. The Mondrago Nature Park offers two beautiful bays and is located in the immediate vicinity of Santanyi. The Vall d'Or golf course, an attractive course with fantastic views of the sea, is approx. 20 minutes by car from Santanyí. Various marinas can be reached in approx. 15 minutes by car.
