With a population of just 1,000, this small village is situated in the hilly landscape between Porto Colom and Cala d‘Or. Here you will find a number of hidden properties with superb panoramic views across the landscape and out to sea. The gentle hills of this picturesque region are reminiscent of Tuscany, affording viewpoints which capture the very best of the natural scenery and turquoise seas. At the top of the approximately 400 m high Puig de Santueri stands the 14th century Castell de Santueri, which also promises superb views into the distance. S’Horta offers a range of bars, small shops, a bank and a chemist. Every Saturday, local traders sell fresh fruit and vegetables from the region at the weekly market on the village square. The village church is well worth a visit and you might be lucky enough to attend one of the musical events staged there. The popular 18-hole Vall d’Or golf course is just five minutes away, whilst Cala d’Or with its exclusive marina or Porto Colom can be reached by car in 10 minutes; the drive to Palma airport takes around 45 minutes.
