Oil heatingThis region, whose name comes from the Arabic etymology "al-Saqra", indicates the fertility of this farming area. It is a flat, gently undulating land dotted with castles. The Sanctuary was decorated by Doménico Theotocopuli "El Greco" and was considered by him to be "his most perfect work". We can also admire the spectacular Mudejar Tower, called "La Giraldilla de La Sagra" which belongs to the parish of Santa María, being one of the few monuments of the Muslim-Christian transition.
