Carretera de Cádiz: Location and surroundings of this property

The Paseo Marítimo Antonio Banderas, honoured with this name thanks to our most international actor from Malaga, runs along the west coast of Malaga. It is a relatively new area, with a wide promenade and numerous entertainment points such as cafes with terraces, playgrounds, bike lanes, and the typical ‘pescaíto frito’ (fried fish) snack bars. In this area, there are chimneys that bear witness to Malaga's industrial past and which, after being restored, stand tall and proud as aesthetic symbols that bring back historic memories of our city. One of them, the most popular, is known as ‘Monica's Tower’, as a teenager wrote the name of his beloved after a lovers' quarrel in 1993 and for years this woman's name remained until its subsequent restoration in 2007.
