JaAracena is a village located in the north of the province of Huelva in the natural park called Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche. It is 93km from Seville airport. It has an area of about 185km2. It is an important tourist centre in the area, where you can visit such unique sites as the famous cave called Gruta de las Maravillas, one of the most interesting karst formations in Spain and of extraordinary beauty. The town centre, nestled under the Monte de la Cruz and around the Cerro del Castillo, is full of monuments and has been declared a ‘Bien de Interés Cultural’ (Site of Cultural Interest). This house is only 850m from the aforementioned Gruta de las Maravillas and 1km from the 13th century castle which is also well worth a visit.
