Premià de Dalt is one of the municipalities that belong to the Parc de la Serralada Litoral. It is located in the middle/lower part of the Maresme region, 22 km. to the NE of Barcelona and 9 km from the city of Mataró. Its municipality is large, as it has an area of 6.6 km2. To the north it borders Vallromanes, to the east with Vilassar de Dalt, to the west with Teià and to the south with Premià de Mar. The forest with the Iberian site of the Bishop's Chair and different hills with views over the Mediterranean stand out in the area. The town is structured from the parish church of Sant Pere and the area of the Factory, the commercial axis of the town that connects the City Council with the School, Library, House of Culture Can Figueres and Municipal Nursery School . Premià de Dalt is structured in five large neighborhoods: old town, Remei neighborhood, Santa Anna - Tió neighborhood and La Floresta neighborhood. The municipality has grown through the urbanizations (Can Figueres, Puig de Pedra - Sot del Pi, Les Pèrgoles ...).
