The district of Argüelles, born in the Ensanche period, is a magnificent example of bourgeois Madrid. Bounded by the Parque de Debod and Calle Princesa, it extends in a narrow strip from the Plaza de Espana and towards the Parque del Oeste, bounded by the streets of Pintor Rosales, Irún, Paseo Moret, Ferraz, Princesa, Plaza de España and Cuesta de San Vicente.
