The term is located, to a large extent, within the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, and is surrounded by extraordinary landscapes such as Prat de Cadí located at the foot of the mountain, Ridolaina valley, Prat de Aguiló located at a height of 1,700 meters or the Cristall and Bastanist canals, ideal places for practicing different sports and activities in contact with nature. It preserves notable architectural elements, such as the 16th century church of Sant Genís de Montellà and the parish church of Sant Sadurní famous for its square tower bell. During the last years of the 20th century, most of the old houses as well as the central square have been restored, thus recovering the spirit and authenticity of the traditional mountain village.
