The Gothic style Castle of Rosanes was built in the 12th century and was considered the most important "domus" of La Garriga in the Middle Ages. With 764 sqm built, it has been declared a cultural asset of national interest. It conserves a square tower, walls and part of a round tower. Its structure is that of an ancient castle, it has a square walled enclosure, and there are towers with a circular base. In the entrance portal, under the tower, there are still the laces of the door that was operated vertically and on the facade there is a shield sculpted in the stone that contains a crescent and a Maltese cross. When passing the door, there is a courtyard, around which all the rooms were located. Nowadays it has a license, since there is a restoration business. The Can Rosanes castle is located in the town of La Garriga located in the Vallés Oriental and just 35km from Barcelona, with quick access to the N-II and AP7. With bus and RENFE transport services, R3 line that connects in the direction of Barcelona and Puigcerdà.
