Olèrdola is a municipality in the Alt Penedès region, consisting of the population centers of Moja, Sant Miquel d’Olèrdola, Can Trabal, Daltmar, Sant Pere de Molanta, and Vilallops. Its capital, Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola, is located 54 kilometers from Barcelona. The municipal area is crossed by the Mediterranean Highway (AP-7), the national road N-340 at km 1215, the regional highway C-15 (Vilafranca del Penedès-Vilanova i la Geltrú), and local roads that connect with Avinyonet, Olivella, and Vilafranca del Penedès. Within its municipal boundaries lies the Olèrdola Regional Park, covering 409 hectares, and part of the Natural Parks Network of the Barcelona Provincial Council. The territory is mountainous, especially in the southern part, which extends through the western slopes of the Garraf massif, where it reaches 465 meters at the Àliga mountain, on the border between the municipalities of Olèrdola and Canyelles. Also significant is the Papiol mountain (383 meters), near the border with Avinyonet.
