El Mercat (in Spanish El Mercado) is a neighborhood in the city of Valencia (Spain), belonging to the Ciutat Vella district. It is located in the center of the city and borders to the north with El Carmen, to the east with La Seu, to the south with Sant Francesc and to the west with El Pilar.
