WärmepumpeSarriá was an independent town from the Barcelona City Council until 1921, when it was added to the Barcelona municipality. Since then, it has been one of the neighborhoods that make up the Sarriá-San Gervasi district. The first written data that are preserved of the town are from the 10th century. Initially, the town was an area dedicated to the agricultural sector, especially wine, but later it attracted wealthy families. Today's Sarriá combines the corners where you can easily recall the old rural town, especially around Calle Major de Sarriá, with modern areas and major communication routes. It is worth highlighting the services and especially the schools, civic centers, sports infrastructures, the market, Plaça de Sarrià, the strength of the neighborhood trade, the large pedestrian area and the typical architecture of the time. In addition, Sarriá is the neighborhood with the least pollution in Barcelona and is considered the quintessential residential neighborhood of Barcelona.
