Within the Guadarrama National Park we find the small town of Cerceda, belonging to the municipality of Boalo, 49 kilometers from Madrid, which can be accessed by two routes: the M-607 or the A-6 highway. If instead of heading to the capital we head north, very close we will find very touristic villages, such as Manzanares el Real, Becerril de la Sierra or Navacerrada. But if we choose this area as a second residence, it will not be only to enjoy the cool nights of the mountains, but also to check the various trails that run through here or enjoy the practice of climbing La Pedrizas, some two kilometers away. The village of Boalo is considered among the best in terms of ecological policy in Spain, keeping their own herds of goats, making roads so that children can go to different public or private schools by bicycle by what they call safe roads. It has a system of transferring residents between the three villages pioneer nationwide ... as you will see, defining Cerceda and its environment would take us much more lines.
