Renovated ground-floor apartment in Ruzafa

The building, constructed in 1920 by Javier Goerlich, has been meticulously restored with rigorous respect for all the elements that characterize this property, making it a unique building in Valencia. The former bronze workshop of José Abad, located on the first floor, will be present once again in key elements. We have recovered an old catalog and revived some of his designs for door and cabinet handles, as well as for faucets. The recovery of original elements is undoubtedly a distinguishing feature. From the facade design to the carpentry, the hydraulic tiles, or the materials of the structure itself, such as the curved ceiling beams or the exposed brick walls. In other cases, these elements serve as inspiration to reintroduce items such as shutters, textured glass, or bronze finishes. All of this is encompassed in the comprehensive restoration project, which explores the opportunities to endow each of these homes with a unique style. Respecting the essence of the original building is the goal, one that has been fully achieved.
