Palma Town Hall has prohibited holiday rentals of multi-family homes, which has eased the market again.

In Son Vida and in the surrounding area of Palma, rental prices, as well as purchase prices, are among the highest on the whole island. This is due, among other things, to limited availability. In this area, rental prices also correspond to the relative price levels of properties offered for purchase. Apartments for long-term rental cost up to 7,000 euros a month, while houses are available for monthly rental of between 6,500 and 15,000 euros.
