Zurich Gold Coast - Best location on the lake between the economic center Zurich and Meilen

Küsnacht - The hotspot on Lake Zurich

Küsnacht with its almost 14,000 inhabitants and a beautiful village center is one of the most popular communities on the Zurich Gold Coast. The direct location on the lake with perfect tanning, the foresight in the Swiss Alps, the proximity to the metropolis of Zurich and the cosmopolitan population give the village an international flair in a dignified Swiss environment. In the center of the village are all shops for daily needs as well as cafes, inns, star restaurant and medical centers. The weekly market allows for shopping directly from the farm and the Gourmet House Moreira spoils with delicious goods from all over the world. Regular village events such as chilbi, theatrical performances or community gatherings testify to a lively community with an interested population from young to old. The enchanting location of the Küsnachter Horn invites you to swim, row or stand up paddling in the clear, clean waters of Lake Zurich and stroll. In the evening you can enjoy your wine or cool drink with delicious food in the summery golden illuminated beer garden at the 4 star Romantikhotel Sonne, which in winter becomes the Ice Palace with a skating rink in a direct lake location. Passenger ships take you from here within a very short time to the Bürkliplatz in the center of Zurich or to the historic old town of Rapperswil. The connection to the left bank of Lake Zurich is guaranteed by the ferry Meilen-Horgen and the cruise ship Küsnacht-Thalwil. The city of Zurich can be reached in about 15 minutes by public transport of the S6 or S16 and with the bus lines 912, 916, 918, 919. The journey time to Zurich Kloten International Airport is only 30 minutes by car or S-Bahn S16.

Prices and location of the real estate

The Zurich Gold Coast is in great demand for homeowners from both national and international backgrounds. Middle locations are usually found near the village centers and in an elevated position with limited lake and foresight. On average, a maximum of CHF 2'500.00 per square meter of land or CHF 14'000.00 per square meter of living space is paid for new buildings. The highest prices reach all land as well as large, private mansions with a lake on the 13 km long Seestrasse between Meilen and Zollikon to the city limits to Zurich.
