Saanen: Location and surroundings of this property

Turbach: Gstaad's Most Romantic Side Valley Hidden away between the Hornfluh and the Giferhorn, the enchanting Turbach valley (1,320 m above sea level) offers beautiful nature and the fascination of the four seasons. The perfect quiet and remote place to find joy in the little things, to embrace happiness and relaxation. Magnificent landscape offers romantic summer and winter hikes, bike tracks and cross-country trails. The hiking trails lead from Gstaad-Oberbort along the stream to the Heuberg at the very back of the Turbach valley. The hiking or mountain trails also lead to the surrounding mountain peaks, such as the Giferhorn, the Wistätt, the Hornberg, etc. The famous Tiger Run on the Wasserngrat, Gstaad's exclusive skiing mountain, is situated opposite the village. Gstaad and the surrounding ski areas can be reached in a matter of minutes. The Turbach also has its own cross-country ski trail, which is approx. 7.5 km long and suitable for both classic style and skating. It leads far away from traffic and noise through an incomparable mountain world and through snow-covered forests; the almost unspoilt nature can be enjoyed to the full. The snow-covered landscape is also ideal for beautiful ski tours and snowshoe hikes. There is the village shop in Turbach, which is open 24/7 and is accessible with a special card. The "Wintermatte-Beizli", a small restaurant in an Alpine hut, is open in summer, where you can enjoy local food and drinks and the famous Saanen Hobelkäse cheese, which is also produced in the Turbach valley. A new charming restaurant was open recently to offer more enjoyment options. Highlights: - Hiking - Skiing - Cross-country skiing - Ski touring/snowshoe hiking - Mountain biking - Picnic and BBQs places
