Muralto: Location and surroundings of this property

The municipality of Muralto is located on the sun-drenched northern shore of Lake Maggiore. In the meantime, the municipality has grown together with neighbouring Locarno and partly takes on central functions for it. The Locarno railway station is also located in the municipality, where two railway lines (to Bellinzona and to the Centovalli) end. On 31 December 2007, the municipality had 2,949 inhabitants.
