Schönberg im Stubaital is a rural community at the entrance to the Stubaital. Located at around 1026 m above sea level, Schönberg is known as a holiday resort, less than ten minutes from the state capital Innsbruck. Numerous hiking, mountain or e-bike routes lead from Schönberg to the rear of the Stubaital, to the hamlet of Gleins and to the neighboring Wipptal.
