Description
The project consists of an Isolated Two-Family House, with two autonomous units, comprising two floors and a basement, featuring the following interior spaces: - On the Ground Floor, upon entering, we are greeted by the distribution space, the Atrium, which provides access to a Sanitary Installation. From here, we access the staircase leading to the 1st Floor and Basement, the Kitchen, and the Living Room. Both the Living Room and the Kitchen are supported outside by a balcony and a barbecue. On the 1st Floor, after ascending the stairs, we encounter a distribution space. From this space, we have the bedrooms supported by balconies. In the Basement, after descending the access stairs, we have a distribution space through which we access the Storage, a supporting Sanitary Installation, and a Garage, in the case of one of the units. In terms of exterior spaces, the two units are supported by paved areas and grassy zones, with a leisure area at the back featuring a pool supported by a deck and lawn. In terms of language, the House presents a composition formed by the different planes defined by the facades and volumes, striking elements of the composition, as well as by the cladding materials and others used, such as ceramic cladding and plaster painted in two colors, thereby creating aesthetically interesting and harmonious elevations, forming a coherent set within the architectural language used. In terms of volumes, the House presents a volumetric composition where the various volumes stand out, central elements of the volumetric composition, seeking to accompany the shape of the plot, either by the cut of the volumes or by following the lateral limit of the plot. Functionally and aesthetically, the architectural solution sought to satisfy the applicant's preferences and integrate into the local character of the surrounding environment, however, making a difference through the architectural language used. In designing the project, an effort was made to take advantage of the various present components, referencing a Modern Architecture language, particularly in the treatment of surfaces, in the different facade planes, in the organization of openings and volumes, seeking a rational and functional distribution of spaces necessary for the function of the units, with the social, service, and intimate areas being perfectly distinct, as well as a direct relationship with the exterior space, taking into consideration, as much as possible, the solar orientation and the relationship with its surroundings.
