5-storey building for services with river views

A service building overlooking the River Douro, comprising four buildings that once belonged to the Companhia Geral da Agricultura das Vinhas do Alto Douro. Its refurbishment involved maintaining the original design of the mother building with a modernist twist. The entrance/reception is through an "old wine tunnel" which gives access to the lift that takes you to all levels of the building. The whole building has large windows facing west/river and therefore has natural light inside, also from the skylights in the ceiling. The entire building has large spaces for work areas, duly designed to create synergy between all the spaces, as well as individual spaces/rooms, where you can see the refinement of the materials used in all of them (spaces), such as wood, glass, marble, steel and stone. It also has areas for socialising and leisure such as a cafeteria, terrace, deck and garden. It enjoys privileged access as it is located next to the VCI, close to the A1 motorway via Freixo, the Douro riverbank and downtown Porto. The building also has a large garage for around 30 cars and outdoor parking and a garden. Contemporary and "rustic" styles blend inside and outside the building, forming a perfect symbiosis. The building can be used for various purposes, including services, which is what it is being used for.
