Moving to the Amsterdam region?

Amsterdam has become one of the Top 10 popular cities in the world to live in. Beautiful historic sites, the famous canals, various parks and great International schools are just some of the many characteristics that make Amsterdam very attractive to live in. The International airport Schiphol is 10 minutes away by car and the beach just 30 minutes away by car.

The confidence of investors in the Dutch business climate is growing. Slightly more than half of the international investors assume that the business climate will become more and more attractive in the coming years. Recent developments around Brexit has already made several companies decide to move to Amsterdam.

Move of EMA
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) will officially move from London to Amsterdam. Before the end of March 2019 EMA will take their place in their temporary accommodation in The Spaklergebouw, to move permanently after that into their newly build EMA building at the Zuidas in Amsterdam. Along with EMA, many other international pharmaceutical companies have announced to move to the Amsterdam region. To make the transfer as easy as possible, many international employees already started looking for apartments/houses in Amsterdam and surrounding areas. Several clients have already hired the experience of the well-known, internationally operating real estate agency Engel & Völkers in Amsterdam.
