CASA SAN DIEGO, LOMAS

Casa San Diego is doubtless the perfect mix between the traditional Lomas de Chapultepec vibe with modern luxury and comfort.  Located in a privileged street lined with luscious trees, this house has a lot of character. While it preserves its original Californian style features, such as arches and quarry columns, it was fully renovated to the core in 2012. It incorporated high-end finishes, appliances, and even an extra space in the yard that can be used as a comfortable office, a library, a bar, or a playroom. There is a wine cellar and a smoke room in the recently-created basement. The two-story house was perfectly designed for a family that appreciates everyone´s private space, but that also cherishes moments of quality time together. The rooms are warm and bright, the bathrooms have floor-to-ceiling marble plates  and generous walk-in closets. There is a family room on each floor. The Italian kitchen is modern, and features granite and high-end appliances. The staircase is an important component of the house, as it is a piece of art itself.  A key element of the house is how the outside green trees appear to be trying to get into the house at all times. A couple of Jacarandas will turn the main room´s living room into a postcard during the spring months.
