Riscone lies on a range of hills above the town of Brunico, directly at the foot of the Kronplatz ski and hiking area which is crowned by the Concordia bell, and a viewing platform at the summit. In winter there is a lot of activity - a total of 110km of perfectly prepared pistes and 32 modern lifts make skiing and snowboarding a winter delight. The summit is also home to a Messner Mountain Museum and the newly opened Lumen Museum of Mountain Photography, with the connected top restaurant Alpinn, where star chef Norbert Niederkofler presents newly interpreted regional Alpine cuisine in a unique panoramic setting. Across the meadows from Reischach up to the neighbouring village of Stefansdorf and back there is also a cross-country ski trail.
The panorama here is impressive not only in winter, but also in summer the lifts are open and offer hikers nice walks, panoramic paths and cycle paths. In the Reischach sports zone, nestled in a unique natural setting of forests and biotopes, there is a 9-hole golf course as well as the wellness and bathing oasis Cron4 with its 5 different pools and a sauna area of over 3000m2 with 13 different sweating possibilities. Reischach is a touristic area with different possibilities for sport and free-time activities and it is also enhanced through its proximity to the city of Brunico.
