This town is surrounded by greenery, near the Lake Montorfano Nature Reserve and the prestigious Villa D'Este Golf Club. It is just a few kilometers from the center of Como and twenty minutes from the border with Switzerland. The location is ideal for those who wish to experience greenery and relaxation without renouncing the services and comforts the area offers, especially the proximity to Como, the provincial capital and city of international tourist interest. Lecco is reachable in about half an hour. Milan and its international airports, Linate and Malpensa, are about an hour's drive away. Lugano is about 50 minutes away by car. Winter sports lovers can reach the most famous ski resorts in less than three hours by car, including St. Moritz, Madesimo, Bormio, and Livigno. The Lake Como ferryboat company offers year-round boat connections from Como to other picturesque towns around the lake, such as Cernobbio, Menaggio, Tremezzo, and Bellagio. Lake Como has many possibilities for water sports enthusiasts, just as the hinterland is ideal for long walks, excursions, trekking, cycling, or mountain biking.
