Old building for new construction in the village centre

This house, built in 1952, is located on a small vacant plot directly on the main road and in the village centre of Antermoia. The construction work was never completed in the 1950s, meaning that the house has been slumbering in an unfinished state since then and has never been completed or lived in. The property is therefore in absolute need of renovation or is ready for demolition. The exterior walls of the existing house were largely built with local natural stone, the ceiling structures and the roof in solid larch and spruce wood. It would be possible to reuse these building materials if the demolition was carried out carefully and could give the new building a traditional character. The new building can be constructed with a free-living volume of approx. 1,000 m³, taking into account the existing building volume and in compliance with the urbanistic guidelines.
