We are in the heart of Parma, and the building overlooks one of the most famous streets in the city centre, Borgo Giacomo Tommasini. The illustrious city doctor is the only person from Parma to have a street named after him, known to everyone in Parma simply as "Borgo Giacomo". The Tondùs made the palace their home and rose rapidly in social status. After 1734, they decided to sell the business and to devote themselves successfully to banking.
