The property is located in the centre of the pretty and well-kept medieval village of Torria, a hamlet of Chiusanico. Positioned on a hill 437 metres above sea level, it dominates the valley from the surrounding mountains to the sea with a 360° view and is very sunny. In the main square, with ample parking on a terrace overlooking the valley and benches to enjoy the spectacular view, is the Church of San Martino, whose portal and bas-relief date back to the second half of the 15th century, and the ancient Oratory. Wandering through the well-kept alleyways of the village, amidst breathtaking views, the well-preserved old colourful houses take you back in time, to a time when life proceeded slowly between work in the fields and family activities, and women would gather to do their laundry in the wash-house in the small square with its portico, amidst chatter and laughter. In addition to the tranquillity of the village, in Torria it is possible to go hiking or biking on the paths leading to the surrounding mountains, Pizzo d'Evigno and Pizzo Montin, both around 900 metres, or to reach the beaches of Imperia, only about 15-20 minutes away by car. From Imperia, you can access the new cycle path directly on the sea that goes as far as Ospedaletti, unique in its kind. A place of tranquillity and silence, from which one can see both the mountains and the sea. There is a Restaurant Bar in the square, where you can enjoy typical local dishes or a cappuccino while admiring the spectacle of nature. Torria is about 16 km from Imperia, about 37 km from Sanremo, and about 1 hour and 20 minutes from the airports of Nice and Genoa. The motorway exit is Imperia Est.
