Description
This wholly renovated rustic house is in an area of 30,750 sqm, in a protected natural park, deep in the nature of the Euganean Hills, in the upmarket medieval village of Arquà Petrarca. The area is partly covered by woodland, partly by typical terraces with over a hundred jujube trees and 340 olive trees of 8 different varieties that make one obtain extra virgin olive oil of premium quality. Through a private road, crossing a gate, one enters the property that lays in total silence and privacy. The view is unique and breathtaking, with a privileged 180° view of the Po Valley from above. The rustic house presents itself as a typical local dwelling: the stones of the pre-existing ruin were used to carry out the façade, the roof and the internal side of the porch were created with wooden beams and original terracotta tiles, while the external paving with early stone from a square in Venice. The property spreads over two levels for a surface of approx. 250 square metres, and consists on the ground floor of a porch from which you enter into a sizeable open space with a living room, a dining room with an Austrian stube fireplace, a kitchen, a laundry, and a study/bedroom. Going up, by a modern spiral iron staircase, we reach the upper area, paved with planed and hand-brushed oak, where additional open space is; it comprises a study, a library, a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe, a second double bedroom, a bathroom with a corner Jacuzzi. An above-ground garage of about 100 sqm, a cellar and a storage room add additional value to the property. One can also get a significant possibility of enlargement with the construction of a flat of 60 sqm and the carrying out of a magnificent infinity pool.
