U ‘Trappitu’ in Panarea: elegant dwelling with terrace and garden

This splendid residence is located in San Pietro, the centre of the island of Panarea, and enjoys a wonderful panoramic view of the sea and the port below. The architectural style is typical of the Aeolian islands, made up of cubic, linear shapes and colours that blend harmoniously with the landscape, such as the white of the plaster and the rainbow of the courtyard full of plants and flowers. The elegant finishes make it ready to be lived in immediately. The house is spread over two floors and can comfortably accommodate 5-6 people. The property is accessed through the large panoramic terrace on the ground floor, in perfect Aeolian style, the so-called ‘bagghiu’, covered by a pergola of reeds on wooden beams, resting on cylindrical pillars, and enriched by a raised stone step that acts as a seat around the perimeter of the terrace. The ground floor consists of a large open-plan area with a kitchen and relaxation zone, in which two more beds can be provided if necessary. There is also a guest bathroom and a storage room with external access. From the terrace, a few steps lead down to the sleeping area in which there are three bedrooms, two doubles and a single room, with a large bathroom. The sleeping area also overlooks a beautiful garden belonging to the property, with typical Mediterranean plants and trees such as lemons, figs, olives, etc. The basement location of the sleeping area together with the vegetation ensures privacy during warm summer evenings.
