Description

There are very few residences like this one on Lake Maggiore, in which you start dreaming from the first moment you enter. This property, a newly built modern villa, is unequalled in its kind. The architects who have worked on it have succeeded admirably in blending modern technology with the surrounding nature, which in that location offers a unique view of the lake. Every corner of the house has been designed to fulfil a specific function and some elements have been conceived for emotional purposes only. The position of the house allows a 180-degree view of Lake Maggiore and, on a clear day, the eye can easily wander as far as Lake Varese and Lake Comabbio. A house where unique emotions find their place. Immersed in the infinity pool, you feel as if you are touching the lake: while sipping an aperitif, you can admire the play of light on the surface of the water that only the blue hour can provide. Inside the villa, a very bright kitchen has been designed with large windows so that one can cook while enjoying the view of the lake from every position. Even the fitness area offers glimpses of blue, which blend in with the shades of the swimming pool and the colours of Verbano. The bedrooms, on the other hand, allow you to enjoy the sunrise as you wake up. The wonder that this place can offer is combined with the comforts of a modern villa: comfort, safety, energy saving, made possible thanks to the most sophisticated and innovative technologies. These include: home automation remote control of all the villa's functions, the internal lift that leads from the garage directly into the house, digital recognition to access the property, solar panels, and personalised air conditioning. I am waiting for you to live this dream.

Location: Massino Visconti, Piedmont

This small municipality lies on the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore in a hilly position overlooking the green shores of the lake. Tranquillity and nature are the characteristics that distinguish the small town of Massino Visconti (above Lesa), located a few kilometres from the renowned town of Arona. An important tourist centre, well connected to the main motorways, close to Malpensa and 60 km from Milan, Arona lies on the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore. A town with a rich history, Arona was long in the hands of the wealthy and powerful Borromeo family: St Charles Borromeo was in fact born here, in the castle, in 1538. There are many churches and squares in the town, among which the Church of the Holy Martyrs and the Collegiate Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary are certainly worth mentioning. The former houses the remains of the town's patron saints and preserves 15th-century frescoes of the Leonardesque school above the main altar, while the latter, a parish church, originally had a Gothic style that has been gradually lost due to countless renovations. Moving on to the medieval heart of the town, we discover Piazza del Popolo, with its old-style houses and the pier, on which stands a small lighthouse, a favourite spot for tourists. However, the most important and fascinating monument in Arona is undoubtedly the colossus of St. Charles Borromeo, which, with a height of about 35 metres, ranks second among the tallest statues in the world, preceded only by the Statue of Liberty. Arona also offers a variety of activities for tourists: an historic centre full of shops and restaurants, a beautiful lakeside promenade to stroll along, and lidos and small beaches where you can spend hot summer days. In this wonderful historical and natural setting you can find houses for sale Lago Maggiore.
