The area was known and inhabited even before the Etruscan age and that is why now is rich in history and traditions. The valley that surrounds it is very well preserved; the surrounding woods, fields and olive groves are hundreds of years old and are dotted with farmhouses. Cortona, a beautiful small town always at the top of visits thanks to a unique tourist offer that combines archaeology, spirituality and excellent food and wine, is 20 km away. The nearest village is 2.5 km away, where you can find essential services such as banks, supermarkets, post office, pharmacy, taxis, pubs, gas stations. The Lake Trasimeno is only 16 km away. Over the past two centuries, the structure has been run as a productive farm. In the 19th century, an excellent red wine was produced here, and was mainly exported. Extra-virgin olive oil from the Umbria- Tuscany area is extremely balanced, very aromatic and not too strong. The property includes a recently planted olive grove, which gives olives every year, as well as fruit trees such as figs, cherries, walnuts, apricots and plums that can be offered to the guests.
