About 20 km from Milan, with its 60,000 inhabitants Legnano is the fourth most populous city in the province. It’s equipped with all services, located near A8 and A36 (Pedemontana) highways and in a strategic position for its proximity to the Milan Malpensa Airport. Thanks to an historical battle, Legnano is the only city, besides Rome, to be mentioned in the Italian national hymn. Since 1935, every year the people of Legnano remember this battle with the Palio delle contrade, traditionally held on the last Sunday of May.
