Charming historic villa in the heart of the Roero

Overlooking the central square of Montaldo Roero, the palace is characterised by an 18th-century brick façade, the only one to have remained intact in the area. The succession of time and noble and popular traditions pervades the residence, in a perfect balance of simplicity and elegance. Originally built in the 15th century as a fortress for the feudal lords of the time, it has undergone careful renovations over the centuries, aimed at preserving the spirit and nature of historic aristocratic residences. Even after the last renovation in 2018, the palace retains its typical room layout and furnishings, easily adapted to various tourist and cultural purposes. The property has three levels and spacious, visually striking interiors. All rooms are distinctive and memorable: the cosy lounge, the eat-in kitchen where one can enjoy convivial moments, and the numerous guest rooms, all of which have their own fireplaces. From the main entrance, all floors are accessible through a marble staircase. On the left side of the staircase is a convenient, multipurpose room to be used as repository or to store bicycles.
