Chianciano Terme: Location and surroundings of this property

Chianciano Terme is an ideal town where you can live or buy a second home and spend long periods of the year there. It is located between the famous Val d`Orcia (a UNESCO heritage site) and the Val di Chiana, along the crest of the hill that looks eastwards at the lakes and the Apennine Mountains. The spa town offers all the necessary services for daily living as well as being inserted in the typical artistic and food and wine context of this very famous corner of Tuscany. The proximity to the art cities of Siena, Pienza and Montepulciano allows you to enjoy their beauty without necessarily suffering the tourist wave that assails them in many periods of the year. The whole area is historically famous for its numerous spas: in addition to the natural hot water pools and various beneficial water sources of Chianciano, a few km away there are also those of the villages of San Cascano dei Bagni, Bagno Vignoni with its wonderful Roman hot water tub in the middle of the town, and Bagni San Filippo. Chianciano can be reached very easily both from the north and from the south, the highway exit is located a few km from the town, the Chiusi train station is about 15 km away, where both local and fast trains pass for the most important Italian destinations. The closest airports are those of Rome, about 2 hours by car, and Florence, just over 100 km away.

Commission Details
