Vimercate is an Italian municipality of about 26,000 residents in the province of Monza and Brianza in Lombardy. It is at the center of the territory called Vimercatese and is located in the Po Valley, at the southern edge of the Brianza hills, northeast of Milan. It is about halfway between Bergamo and Lecco.
