Vimercate: Location and surroundings of this property

The property is located in the historic center of Vimercate, a stone's throw from all the main city services. Vimercate is an Italian municipality of about 26,000 residents in the province of Monza and Brianza in Lombardy. It is at the center of the territory called Vimercatese and is located in the Po Valley, at the southern edge of the Brianza hills, northeast of Milan. It is about halfway between Bergamo and Lecco. Vimercate is a lively town with a variety of services, several restaurants and five hotels, as well as the “Torri Bianche” district, which offers a well-stocked shopping center with a multiplex cinema and numerous stores, a renowned gym with a swimming pool and spa. It is 8 km from Monza, about 20 km from Milan and 25 km from Bergamo. Vimercate is served by numerous bus lines, which from the bus station in Piazza Marconi connect it to the railway stations of Monza, Arcore, Carnate-Usmate, and Villasanta Parco, and to line 2 of the Milan subway (at the terminals of Cologno Monzese, Brugherio and Gessate, and at Gorgonzola on the branch line to Gessate).
