Aramengo: Location and surroundings of this property

The town is nestled in a natural valley of hills, with the houses arranged like an amphitheater, and it has in the center, in a dominant position, the baroque parish church from the late 18th century dedicated to Sant'Antonio Abate. Located close to a fortress, it was built in 1809. Some paintings are preserved inside, like the work of Guglielmo Caccia known as Moncalvo. To the west, in the Masio district, the church of San Giorgio is worth visiting, originally in Romanesque style, it preserves the apse in the oldest part lightened by three elegant single-lancet windows with light stone arches. Not to be missed, just a few minutes from Aramengo, is the Abbey of Vezzolano, a religious building in Romanesque and Gothic styles, and one of the most important medieval monuments in Piedmont. Moreover, speaking of local cuisine, the typical products of the town are cured meats, honey and the well-known white truffle. The wine production is typical of the area, including Barbera, Freisa and Cortese. The patronal feast of Sant'Anna takes place every year on July the 25th.
