Perugia airport is only 30 km away, Ancona airport 110 km and Florence airport 150 km. During the summer there are many beautiful events held in the area: from Calendimaggio in Gubbio, to the Cantine aperte (open wine cellars) on the last weekend of May throughout Umbria, not to mention Umbria Jazz in July or Eurochocolate in October in Perugia and finally the world's biggest Christmas tree in Gubbio.
