Two farmhouses with swimming pool, in idyllic countryside

Driving a few kilometers from the vibrant town of Città di Castello up a hill to where the road ends, we come across this beautiful property, consisting of two farmhouses with a park and swimming pool. One of the two farmhouses is currently used as a restaurant business, but with a few modifications it can become a residential unit again, as it once was. At its entrance on the ground floor we are welcomed into a large veranda with glass walls, which houses the bar and customer reception with a relaxation area. We then enter the large dining room with a fireplace, which maintains all the characteristics of the Umbrian tradition, with ceilings decorated with beams and tiles and terracotta floors. We also find a large and well-equipped professional kitchen, which gives the possibility to organize receptions for up to 200 people, as well as toilets for customers. The restaurant is also developed on the upper floor, with another large room with an outdoor terrace that allows the possibility of expanding accommodation, and dressing rooms for employees. The outdoor area, with a wonderful garden full of plants and flowers, can host all kinds of events from spring to late autumn, including wedding ceremonies and corporate receptions. Adjacent to the farmhouse restaurant is an old country house, made of stone, with a loggia. The ground floor is divided into two independent apartments consisting of a living room with kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. We also find two rooms used as changing rooms for the swimming pool and a wood-burning oven. Going up the external staircase, which once led to the actual home of the owners of the agricultural fund, we find ourselves in front of a space of about 120 square meters renovated and adapted to create an “agrinido", a place dedicated to play and recreational activities for children. Several rooms follow each other for their reception and care, with underfloor heating. Great importance has been given to natural light, so much so that several skylights have been placed on the roof. Here the large bathroom is equipped with small sinks and small toilets. A very poetic place, created with the idea of letting children grow up in harmony with nature. In addition to farmland of more than 5 hectares, the two farmhouses are surrounded by large lawns, where a beautiful swimming pool is arranged. The property has been recently renovated, and is equipped with a photovoltaic system and a heating system using heat pumps.
