Arona: Location and surroundings of this property

Arona, on the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore, is an important tourist centre, which is well connected to the main highways, also close to Malpensa Airport and 60 km away from Milan. Arona with its rich history was ruled for a long time by the wealthy and powerful Borromeo family: San Carlo Borromeo was born here, in the castle, in 1538.
