Valdaora is a picturesque village in South Tyrol and is surrounded by an impressive mountain landscape. The village itself lies at an altitude of about 1,000 metres above sea level and thus offers a magnificent view of the surrounding peaks. The nearby skiing area "Plan de Corones", which can be reached in about 3 km, offers a variety of slopes for all levels of difficulty. There are also cross-country ski trails and toboggan runs for those looking for an alternative winter sports activity. The small town of Brunico, the cultural-historical and economic centre of the Puster Valley, is only 10 km away.
