Castagnole delle Lanze: Location and surroundings of this property

Castagnole delle Lanze, officially listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, is a town in the Monferrato region that overlooks the Langhe and is therefore in an excellent position to discover evocative places where you can take unforgettable photographs, enjoy unforgettable views and immerse yourself in nature, art and history, accompanied by excellent food and wine. The historical centre of the village, with its narrow streets paved with river cobblestones, is situated on the hillside and is rich in architectural attractions: the Ballada di San Roberto Tower, set in a splendid park, offers a splendid view of the gentle hills covered with rows of vines and vineyards, which turn golden in autumn, and of the chain of the Alps. Luigi Piccatto, one of the most famous Italian cartoonists and one of the fathers of Dylan Dog, lived in Castagnole delle Lanze. Every summer in Piazza San Bartolomeo, the 'Contro' festival welcomes singers (both famous and new), with a programme that mixes different genres: rap, rock, singer-songwriter, light music, Occitan sounds and pop, while also giving space to local food and wine products. The "Nomadi", one of the longest-running bands in international music history, is based here and performs every year. The territory of Castagnole Lanze is naturally suited to the production of wine, in particular Barbera, Moscato and Dolcetto: an interesting initiative launched by the town is the "adoption of a row of vines", aimed at preserving the tradition of wine production linked to the territory. Asti and Alba are less than 20 minutes away, Turin and its airport 50 minutes, Milan and Genoa 90 minutes.
