Luxury residence with elevator in Rialto

A stroll through the stalls of the Rialto is a tradition - and a small pleasure! - for those who, like us, are lucky enough to live in Venice. At the foot of the Rialto bridge, the icon and beating heart of the city, goods of all kinds have passed and been exchanged over the centuries: from the most valuable, such as spices, silks and precious metals, to foodstuffs from the islands or the mainland, to the retail trade in wine, vegetables, fruit and fish. At the end of this walk, on a very pleasant morning that smells of spring, we enjoy reaching our home by crossing the Grand Canal: we thus take advantage of the convenient water door and the lift - convenient for carrying, without effort, perhaps the very food we have just bought at the market. Inside, an elegant custom-made wardrobe, covered in precious Rubelli materials, accompanies us along the corridor to the bright living room. The floor in herringbone wood and the doors with their leaded glass panes are authentic Venetian quotations, while the very recent renovation brings us back to a contemporary and very rational style. The modern eat-in kitchen, in particular, offers much versatility, as does the laundry room positioned right next to it. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms define functional and relaxing spaces. A small annexe with bedroom, living room, bathroom and separate entrance allows you to host friends and loved ones while preserving maximum privacy and independence. We grab a bottle of wine and two glasses and take the lift up to the marvellous condominium roof-terrace for one last glimpse of the sunset and the imposing Rialto Bridge, an unforgettable postcard, it seems incredible that all this can become a small daily luxury.
