Cozy pied-à-terre with private courtyard

Along the beautiful "Campo Santa Maria Mater Domini" square, in the Santa Croce district a few steps from the San Stae water bus stop, we find many Renaissance buildings still perfectly preserved around Venice. An example is "Ca' Barbaro", where the coat of arms can still be read: MALO MORI Q(UAM) FEDARI, (I'd rather die than betray), an ancient venetian motto owning to "Compagnie della Calza" company. We cross the well-kept condominium entrance hall and the entrance door, and we find this cozy and bright apartment on the raised ground floor overlooking a sunny private courtyard.
